THE
BIGLEY INTERCLUB
The Backstory
The Bigley Interclub was conceived by an esteemed group of private clubs in the Kansas City area, promoting good competition and fellowship. Originally held between nine clubs in it’s inaugural year of 2018, it grew to 13 the following year.
Mr. Bob Bigley, a longtime Shadow Glen member and advocate for competitive golf in Kansas City, was an ardent supporter of the belief that an interclub competition in our city would promote fair play and respect for the traditions and history of the game amongst likeminded memberships. Upon his sudden passing during the final planning stages of the competition in 2018, the original 9 decided to honor his legacy by calling it The Bigley Interclub.
